The popular Nigerian singer Omah lay and Tems just got arrested after a show.
Omah lay the popular Nigerian music artist who just got trendy with his unique music style has just been arrested in Uganda by the Katwe Police.
He was arrested alongside Tems and Tem’s manager, Muyiwa Awomiyi.
They have all been arraigned in the Makindye Court on the charges of negligence involving the acts of likely spreading an infectious disease C/S 171 of the Penal Code Act.
They have bought been remanded to return to court on December, 16, 2020 for mention of their case.
News gather makes it clear that Omah lay was just a guest artist in the said show in Uganda before he was been arrested by the Katwe Police on Saturday night at the Big Brunch after their performance at Speke Resort in Wavamunno Road, Kampala.
Also arrested was the manager of the venue where he was performing, Dungu Ivan and the events manger Prim Kasana.
They where stated to have flouted the COVID ’19 guidelines before been arrested by officers of the Uganda police in Kampala
The assistant superintendent of police and the deputy Police spokesman, Kampala Metropolitan Police, confirmed their arrest on twitter on Sunday.
