Nollywood Big loss on Christmas Day as one of their Popular Producers, Chico Ejiro dies.
It is really a BLACK CHRISTMAS for the Ejiro family and the Nollywood film industry as one of their very popular producers leaves the earth in the early hours of christmas, 25 December, 2020.
He was reported dead at about 2am today 25, December and Zik Zulu a colleague and a very close friend confirmed the news to channels TV.
Chico Ejiro is the younger brother to another renowned film producer, Zeb Ejiro. He was Born and from Maziakpono in Isoko, Delta State, Ejiro is a movie director, screenwriter, and producer.
Prior to his demise he held the highest number of movie producer in nollywood. He has produced 85 movies for over three decades since he embarked on his career, he has produced movies such as deadly affair, blood money, silent night and many more movies.
He has been in the industry for 30 years. Ejiro studied agricultural science in school. According to him, he delved into movie production when he realised Nigerians would not pay for empty cassettes.
It was gathered that he had been in and out of the hospital for an undisclosed illness some weeks just before he finished shooting his recent movie on Thursday just before his dead.
Ejiro is married and is survived by the wife and four children.
