The Pastor who refused to wed couple for lateness dies, of recent he was on news headlines for refusing to wed the couple due to lateness from the bride.
The news of his dead came up on 16th February 2020, just about a week ago after his refusal and cancellation of the marriage he was to officiate in his church.
The Pastor’s name is Essa Ogorry of Fulfilling Word Foundation Church, Trans Amadi, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
His wife, Tonyemieba Essa-Ogorry, also died on the same date a year ago, Feb 16, 2020.
The pastor made headlines recently after he refused to wed a couple for about an hour because they were few minutes late to church on Feb 6, 2021 (read here). This led to an altercation between church members and the wedding guests/couple, and ended in the couple wedding in a hotel with a different pastor standing as officiating minister.
